William Josepf Janak passed away December 6th at the age of 79.

William is survived by his wife, JoAnn Janak and siblings Gladys Hengst and husband Rex, Gene Janak and wife Charlotte; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

William was born August 8, 1946 in Halletsville TX, to Willie and Agnes Stasny Janak. He married JoAnn Marek on April 15, 1972, in Edna TX.

He and JoAnn moved to Fredericksburg in 1982.

William served in the Texas National Guard, was retired from US Border Patrol but kept busy with jobs at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, UPS and San Antonio Express News.

Per his wishes, William Janak will be cremated with a celebration of life at a later date.
