William C. Richert entered Heaven August 23, 2019, at the age of 73.

William was born November 29, 1945, in Pittsburgh PA, to John Benjamin and Helen Frye Richert. He married Kaye Callan, July 11, 1987, in Las Vegas NV.

William is survived by his longtime partner and companion Kaye Callan; step-daughter Katie Graham and her husband Michael; three siblings, Karen Richert Crosby, Beverly Ann Clark and Richard Eugene Richert; sister-in-law Dorie Ward as well as many nieces and nephews.

William attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville TX, majoring in graphic arts. He was trained as a commercial printer at the age of 14, which started his long printing career. William and Kaye owned and operated Custom Print & Copy in Aransas Pass TX for 23 years. His failing health caused his retirement. He always considered his work as a ministry to his customers, who became good friends throughout the years.

William was known for his hard work and generosity, his sense of humor and his love of family and pets.

William died peacefully in Fredericksburg TX after a long battle with cancer. He was cared for by the loves of his life, Kaye Callan and Katie Graham.

A celebration of William's life will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, August 28 ^th , in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home, with Dale Johnson officiating.
