Carol Marie Smith of Fredericksburg passed away on Tuesday August 30 at the age of 90. She was born on January 29, 1926 to Giles M. and Daisy M Ellisor Bailey in Washington County TX. on December 21 , 1941 she married Joseph H. "Jack" Smith. Carol was a member of Fredericksburg First Baptist Church.

Carol M. Smith is survived by her son Jason Smith and wife Vickie of Katy TX. 3 grandchildren, Jerel Smith, Jayme Smith, Venessa Furman and 6 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. Smith and a sister Hortense.

A memorial service will be held on September 17, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the  First Baptist Church Fredericksburg.
